What’s New in 1.1.4?
Compatibility Fixes
With the upcoming release of ACF 6.1, we understand that compatibility is critical for our users. In version 1.1.4, we have addressed compatibility issues to ensure that ACF Custom Database Tables continues to work smoothly with ACF 6.1.
JSON Update Notice Display Fix
We’ve also fixed an issue with the schema update notice when saving a field groups. Previously, the notice would incorrectly display the post type as post
, regardless of the actual post type the table is intended for. With this update, the notice will now display the correct post type, ensuring accurate information is presented to users.
REST API Foundations
Included in this release is some foundational code for REST API support. This lays the groundwork for future development of UI-driven tools, making it even easier for you to interact with and manage your custom database tables within the WordPress ecosystem. Keep an eye out for upcoming releases that will build on this functionality and bring you powerful new features!
Update Today!
We encourage all ACF Custom Database Tables users to update to version 1.1.4 to take advantage of these new features and fixes. As always, we recommend testing the update in a staging environment before deploying it to a live site.
