ACF Custom Database Tables version 1.2.0 released

Version 1.2.0 is now live for ACF Custom Database Tables. This release adds a set of WP-CLI commands for checking how the plugin is set up, and raises the minimum requirements to PHP 7.4, WordPress 6.2 and ACF 6.0.

New WP-CLI commands

The commands live under wp acfcdt and work without the admin UI. wp acfcdt doctor runs a health check across the environment, the table map and the plugin’s directories. wp acfcdt map check <field_name> <selector> tells you whether a particular field is mapped to a custom table for a post or user.

The commands exit with 0 when everything is healthy, 1 when they find a problem and 2 when the input can’t be used, so they can gate a CI step. The full list is in the WP-CLI commands documentation.

Changelog

  • New WP-CLI commands under wp acfcdt: doctor, map status, map check, tables list and definitions export.
  • Raised the minimum requirements to PHP 7.4, WordPress 6.2 and ACF 6.0. See the requirements.
  • Fixed PHP 8.5 deprecation notices from the bundled service container.

How to update

If your licence is active, update from your WordPress admin under Plugins, or download 1.2.0 from your account. If your licence has expired, renew at your account to get 1.2.0 and a year of updates.
